DESIGN AND BUILD PROJECTS
UP TFA dedicates itself to contributing to the development of the country's current housing situations through design and build projects. In partnership with other student and non-government organizations, TFA aims to continue the tradition of serving the people through such projects in order to uplift the quality of lives of fellow Filipinos and uphold its principle of building an environment that builds people.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY BUILD
This activity is a collaborative housing project of the Habitat for Humanity Philippines with the other organizations volunteering to help build of houses where members of the poor and informal settling community in a specific area can relocate and live. Members and applicants of UP TFA eagerly volunteer to engage themselves with the manual labor on the construction of these houses. These builds help Habitat for Humanity to lessen costs in construction but beyond that, these hands-on experiences highlight the value of our collective actions as part of our social responsibilities. |

IBANG KLASE: CLASSROOM AND FURNITURE REVAMP
UP TFA, in partnership with UP IE Club, engaged themselves in upgrading the furniture and classrooms of Don Alejandro Roces Senior High School in Del Monte, Quezon City. |

MURAL PAINTING ACTIVITY
UP TFA volunteered in a mural painting activity in Habitat for Humanity's housing site in Tanza, Navotas. The activity was done on two separate days. The white wash painting and primer coating was done last February 21, 2015 and on March 21, 2015, these white walls were brought to life by UP TFA members and applicants together with all the volunteers from other organizations through colorful murals with the theme "Sustainable and Empowered Community". |

PROJECT HANAN
This design and build project is a joint event headed by UP EcoSoc in partnership with UP TFA, UP Palaweños, Gawad Kalinga and the residents of GK-NTC community in Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City. Students were immersed in a half-day construction activity to revitalize the residents's homes for more sustainable, efficient and adequate living. |
